I am a Registered Psychologist, with a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calgary. I emphasize collaboration, warmth, and authenticity, and believe that change is facilitated within a strong therapeutic relationship.
I work with adults of all ages, with a variety of concerns. My area of expertise is in anxiety disorders (panic disorder, agoraphobia, specific phobias, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder), obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression. I have a special interest in perinatal mental health (i.e., pregnancy and postpartum).
I have trained and practiced across a range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient mental health clinics, primary care clinics, university health services, maternity clinics, and private assessment clinics. I have been fortunate to work with people from across the lifespan, with diverse backgrounds.
I have a research background and work as a scientist-practitioner. I have extensive training in providing evidence-based care, primarily CBT, that I integrate as appropriate with other evidence-informed interventions. My approach is individualized and strengths-based.
